Keysha practices through a neuroaffirming lens, honouring the diverse ways in which brains work, embracing each individual’s strengths, challenges, and unique perspectives. Keysha's approach is rooted in the belief that psychological care flourishes when it is inclusive, affirming, and deeply empathic. Keysha has worked with a wide range of ages, presentations and life experiences. These have included anxiety, depression, grief, complex trauma, perinatal mental health and personality disorders. Keysha has trained in evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) and Schema Therapy. This broad toolkit enables Keysha to tailor her therapeutic approach to the particular needs of each individual and integrate modalities to support emotion regulation, healing from trauma, restructuring unhelpful beliefs, and fostering lasting personal growth.
Keysha also has experience in the assessment and support of neurodevelopmental conditions including autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and learning disorders.
She is passionate about helping people explore and embrace their neurodiversity, while learning to support themselves to live a fulfilling life of connection.
Outside of her clinical work, Keysha enjoys spending time with her family, reading, being outdoors and travelling.
